NotesJames Ralph "Shug" Jordan was the Head Football Coach at Auburn University from 1951-1975. He was also an assistant football coach at Auburn from 1933-1944, and at the University of Georgia from 1947-1950 where He also coached basketball. He was inducted in the College Football Hall of Fame in 1982.
