| Notes | The Masters Tournament, originally called the "Augusta National Invitation Tournament" was founded in 1934, in part by Bobby Jones. The name was changed in 1939 to its current title. The tournament is a 72 hole golf tournament held over 4 days, the winner receives a cash reward and the "green jacket" which is the official coat worn by members of the Augusta National while on club grounds. |
