NotesOriginally named Candler Field, after Asa Candler, the airport in Atlanta was renamed Atlanta Municipal Airport in 1929. In 1971 the airport was renamed William B. Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport and in 2003 it was renamed again as Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
